Reminisce of the past, no regrets!

It's ALMOST here!! The new year!! I am still in awe that we have already gone through 2012! I truly feel that this past year has been eye awakening. I feel that I am more of a "REAL" adult, if that makes any sense?? I know I am 30, and not in my 20's anymore, so maybe that is where a lot of it has come from. But I just want to make the years that go by matter, I want to show for something, you know?? Not that my life has been a waste or anything, because it has been quite the opposite, especially with having & raising 3 kids!!! They are the whole reason for my being, and wanting to be better and do better! I just feel that the older I am getting the more I am realizing how much I DON'T want to waste time, that I can always strive for something better! And that includes me trying to be a better person :) I guess I am glad that I have turned 30 this year because I feel that that has been my starting point of "waking up". 

I am really excited about 2013, I have a feeling there will be a lot more things in store for me and my family. New change, good change :) I am most excited about getting more organized, because that is NOT my strongest suite ;) But there is never a best time to be better than now, right? 

I hope you all have had wonderful reflections of the past year, and shared happy moments with a loved one(s). There really is no better joy than to share it with someone you love :) I hope that the past mistakes you may feel you have made are things you can learn from and realize that those don't shape or define who you are but help you to learn from your mistakes & to try to do better. We don't always have to stay limbo in our lives, there is always room for progression and you can always go up. That's what I love about life, there is always something to strive for and once you reach that point there is always something you can strive for or improve after that :) 

Here are my 2013 New Year's wishes and they can be yours too!

-I hope that I can do better this year with seeing all the blessings I am given daily and not taking them for granted.

-I hope that I can always learn from my mistakes and try better instead of wallowing in them and not getting back up. Nothing good comes from dwelling on things ;)

-I hope that I can do things that will make me a better mother, that I can always be a positive example to my children and ALWAYS let them feel loved!

-I hope that I can strive to be a better wife, because I know there are always things that I can do better to make my husband/marriage happy :) 

-I hope that I will not stress so much about the little things and know that if I can't change it, then I can at least change the way I look at it!

-I hope to always see the good in people, because there is always a reason people are the way they are. And even though their negatives outshine their positives, just know that it's in there somewhere and it just needs a little help coming to surface.

-I hope that I can continue to try to do more to serve others and let the Lord shine through me to help others to feel loved!

-I hope that I can know that "I am in charge of how I feel, and I can choose to be happy"!! ;)

-AND LASTLEY, I hope that I can continue to know that the Lord LOVES ME and I can do any and all things with His help and guidance!!
